ECOWAS – Supplementary Protocol A/SP 3/5/80 amending Article 8 of the French Text of the Protocol relating to the Definition of the Concept of Products Originating from Member States (Treatment of Mixtures)
This Supplementary Protocol was adopted on 28 May 1980 in Lomé, Togo. It modifies Article 8 of the French Text of the Protocol relating to the Definition of the Concept of Products Originating from Member States which talks about treatment of mixtures. Mixtures, as referred to in the protocol, have to do with putting together of goods which would qualify as originating from Member States with goods which would not qualify.
The protocol was signed by Benin, Burkina Faso (formerly Upper Volta), Ghana, Cape Verde, Guinea, Côte d’Ivoire, Guinea Bissau, Gambia, Mauritania, Niger, Mali, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone and Togo.
